A free week

Starting Wednesday, April 14, 2010, I will officially have one free week of class. I really feels great to have a week free of discussions, seminars, projects, exams, quiz and papers to do. Eventhough it's only a week, it is well appreciated.

Happy Sumo

This past weekend I went to a restaurant called "Happy Sumo" with some friends. We ate at the hibachi. The hibachi is a Japanese style charcoal brazier covered with a grill, usually used for outdoor cooking. In the beginning, the chef poors some kind of oil on to the grill and sets it on fire and a huge flame comes out of nowhere. It almost took my eyebrows off. You can watch the chef make everyones meal and it is very entertaining. The food is great! As the chef cooks your meal, he does several neat tricks with the cooking utensils and your food. Very entertaining!

Great Weekend

This weekend was a great one. I had some friends from my home town, which is Memphis, Tn, to come visit me. It was great to see some old high scool friends. We were all around Atlanta during the day time and in a club or lounge during the night time. I spent way too much money then I wanted to, but it was worth it because I had a blast. My normal bed time while my friends were here was between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. every night that they were here. I haven't had fun like that in a while. I wish we could hav fun like that more often.

Living in Atlanta

I love living in Atlanta, GA. I was not born in Atlanta. I moved to Atlanta on August 28, 2007. The reason I moved to Atlanta is because this is where my three year old son lives at with his mother. Almost everday here in Atlanta, you will see a celebrity. Atlanta has a popular mall that many tourist like to go to, and the name of the mall is Lenox Square. Lenox Square has all the top designer name clothing such as Prada, Gucci, Loius Vuitton, Findi and many more. Atlanta is also a place where you will see cars such as Ferrari, Bentley, Lamborghini, etc.. There is always something to do here. Atlanta has the largest aquarium in the world and has the Coca-Cola factory tourist attraction. This is just some of the reasons why I love to live in Atlanta.

Lucky Me

Today is a gloomy and rainy day and I really do not like my job too much,and with that being said, it all equals up to me having a very low morale at work today. After arriving to work and clocking in I go outside and then befroe my own eyes, there is a fifty dollar bill folded up and laying by the steps. Then instantley my started to become better. Shortly after my manager arrived to work he calls me into his office, and the first thing I think to myself is, "what did I do?" So, I went in his office and he decides to FINALLY give me my raise that I was suppose to receive a month and a half ago. I became very happy after that news. Then he tells the whole staff that lunch is on him. I guess the morale of this story is to make the best out of everyday and every situation no matter what and always stay positive.

Choosing a Car

I have been debating with myself for a couple months now on what type of car to buy. There are so many different makers and models to choose from. I would definitley love to have a car with some horse power, at least 300hp. I like the Pontiac G8, but the fact that it's a pontiac is what bothers me. I am not too big on pontiac made cars. I do love Chevoralet made cars. I want to buy the Chevy Impala but it can't just be a regular standard Impala, it has to be the "Impala SS" and no other kind. I also want a Tahoe. I love that suv. I wish I was rich so I could buy all the cars that I want and that would solve all of my problems when it comes to choosing the types of cars that I want.

The pros and cons of my Saturday

My Saturday had its ups and downs, but overall it wasn't so bad. I am going to start off with the not so good parts of my Saturday.

On Saturday morning I recieved a phone call around 8:30 in the morning from my job about a resident's apartment that did not have any heat. By the way, I am a maintenance technician for an apartment community. After recieving the call I thought to myself, "great, this day is not so good already." So, I got out of the bed and washed my face and brushed my teeth and continued to make way to the residents house. As i walked to my car I noticed that I had a flat tire. Then I said to myself, "COME ON!!!!!" I had to break out my spare tire and put it on so I could get to my job. During my drive to my job, I checked my lottery ticket and did not get ONE number on the ticket. Then I thought to myself, "I am cursed." When I arrived to the residence apartment and checked out the heating problem in the apartment and found out what the problem was, I COULD HAVE EXPLODED WITH ANGER!!! The problem was that the residence did not have the thermostat turned on to heat.So then I was thinking to myself, "I was awaken from my wonderful sleep to come fix NOTHING!!!" AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!! I felt like my whole day was ruined after that.

Now on the other hand of my Saturday, It only got better from there on. When i finally returned home, I checked my mail and had a referral check for $500 for referring a friend to the apartments where I live. I wanted to do cart-wheels all around the apartment community. The $500 was not the only great thing that happen to me that day. Me and a friend went out to a lounge that night and I met a lady with a beautiful face and the assets to go with it. I approached her with nervousness and just tried to be myself and everything workout as planned. We exchanged numbers and had a couple drinks that night. So, as you have read about my Saturday, you can see that my frown has turned into a smile.

Busy Day

Today was a very busy day. My day started off at 7:45 a.m. because that is the time that my 3 year old son decided to wake up and bother me this morning. The first thing that he wants to do in the morning is eat. So I got up and made him pancakes and eggs because those two foods are his favorite combination of foods to eat in the mornings. After making his breakfast, I decided to tidy up the place, which took me about an hour and twenty minutes to do. Next on the list was to give Kaden (my son) a haircut and bath then get him dress. After finishing get Kaden ready, I gave myself a haircut and a shower then put on some cloth myself. The around 11:00 a.m. or so, we left home and went to my aunt's house to pick up one of my younger cousins to go with me and Kaden to Wal-mart to pick out some toys for a birthday party. That took about 30 minutes out of my day. The birthday party was for my friend's son. He was just turning 2 years old today. We arrived at the birthday party around 1:30 as it was just getting started. We stayed at the birthday party until 4:00 p.m. When we left the birthday party, we went to the mall just to walk around, but I eventually ended up buying something for my Kaden and my younger cousin. We left the mall around 6:00 p.m. to go and drop my younger cousin off to his mother's house. After leaving my Aunt's house I felt that my car was a little Dirty so I took it through a carwash. While in the middle of the carwash, I realized that I left my phone at my aunt's house and had to go get it. That made me a little aggrevated. After retreiving my phone, Kaden and I went to the grocery store to pick up a few items that were needed and a couple wanted things. When we arrived home, I realized that I needed to take back a video game that I rented from blockbuster because I did not wanted to be charged a late fee. So, Kaden I made the trip to blockbuster and back. When everything was done and over with it was 9:00 p.m. Now that was a busy day!!!
