Unit 8 Creating Wellness
The two practices that I have found to be the most beneficial for are The Subtle Mind and Meditation. I believe these two practices are almost the same in one. The subtle mind helps me clear my mind and get rid of the mental chatter that destroys my focus. I try to use these practices in my daily life to help me relieve stress and also help me make better future decisions. One of my mottos that I try to live by is "Stay Positive" but staying positive is not always easy to do and that's when the subtle mind practice and meditations comes in to help me out.

UNIT 7 Creating Wellness
My meditative peactice for the week was to practice at least fifthteen to 20 minutes a day on training my mind. I am still having trouble with letting go of my mental chatter but I am making some progress. With meditative practice throughout the week, I feel that I am becoming a more and more positive thinker. I plan to continue this practice everyday and also increase my time of practice.
One can not lead another where one has not gone himself, in my opinion means that a person can not lead or give advice on something if he has never been in that situation himself. It is like the bling leading the blind. As a health care professional I could not treat a patient on something that is not in my knowledge.

UNIT 6
The exercise and assessment process was about learning how to focus on one of the four aspects of life that I am having trouble with and making myself become better at it. What I have discovered about myself is that I have realized that I have more negative thoughts going on in my head than I thought I did. The are that I have chose to focus more on is Psychospiritual Flourishing because I see that this is apart of my emotion and I feel that it is my emotions that are making me have negative thoughts. The exercise that I can think of that will foster great wellness in that area is trying some deep meditating practices. Hopefully this will work because I know no other way other than letting TIME heal my problems.

Unit 5 Blog
The Loving Kindness exercise and the Subtle Mind exercise compare with each other because both exercises causes us to focus on something about ourselves. They both focus on a certain type of breathing. Loving Kindness teaches us to love ourselves and everyone else especially those that are close to us. The subtle mind exercise shows us how to train our minds to become more focus. It teaches us how to keep from grasping on any little thing that causes a disturbance in our mind. Spiritual Wellness has a connection to mental and physical wellness because, in my opinion, if one is in good spirits this means that there is hardly any stress on the mind. with less stress on the mind we are usually in a good mood and we will not be bothered by stress activating or causing diseases. This connection is showed in my life when I am in good spirits. Usually when I am in good spirits my mind has nothing but positive thoughts and I feel more energized through out the day.
