The two practices that I have found to be the most beneficial for are The Subtle Mind and Meditation. I believe these two practices are almost the same in one. The subtle mind helps me clear my mind and get rid of the mental chatter that destroys my focus. I try to use these practices in my daily life to help me relieve stress and also help me make better future decisions. One of my mottos that I try to live by is "Stay Positive" but staying positive is not always easy to do and that's when the subtle mind practice and meditations comes in to help me out.
Antoine,
ReplyDeleteYou are so right in that staying positive is a hard thing. Just when you think you have it whipped, something jumps up and slaps you in the face. These exercises are great to fall back on when this does happen. Hopefully they will help you to keep a positive mental attitude. By the way, I just read you bio, thank you for your service in the Air Force. I am an Army vet myself.
Hi Antoine,
ReplyDeleteI try to think positively, also. The subtle mind practice is very helpful for becoming aware of negative thoughts and letting them go or replacing them with positive thoughts. My mind often becomes too busy and I lose my focus, so I am going to try to use this practice more often. Thanks for sharing!
